It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 12/20/2021

What I Read

It’s been another interesting week of reading! I was proud of myself, I was able to snag some of the nonfiction titles I mentioned in last week’s Top Ten Tuesday! This week I read 13 Ways to Eat a Fly by Sue Heavenrich, illustrated by David Clark, Code Break, Spy Hunter: How Elizebeth Friedman Changed the Course of Two World Wars by Laurie Wallmark, illustrated by Brooke Smart, Unsolved Case Files: Escape at 10,000 Feet by Tom Sullivan, and Invented by Animals: Meet the Creatures Who Inspired Our Everyday Technology by Christiane Dorian.

And for good measure, I threw in another romance – A Bollywood Affair by Sonali Dev – a fun and quick read!

What I’m Planning to Read

With two weeks left in the year, I’m going to head back to some previous posts to see what I’ve missed this year – and it’s been a lot! With COVID dragging on and being short-staffed at work, I just didn’t spend as much time reading this year. But, you know what? That’s okay too. I read a lot of stuff I wasn’t planning on reading, most likely missed a lot of great reads, but as long as I’m reading, I’ll take it!

What are some of your favorite middle grade of 2021? What are some last-minute must-reads?
