Celebrate World Chocolate Day

What better day is there? It’s World Chocolate Day! I love chocolate everything – hot chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cake, cookies, etc.! Today, I’m sharing six children’s books about chocolate, but I’m also sharing a small business that is all about chocolate.

My sister-in-law is the third-generation working in her family’s chocolate shop. They were able to survive COVID last year without being able to do a lot for Easter, Mother’s Day, and none of the fairs they would normally go to during the summer. You definitely have to check them out – Shannon’s Kandy Kitchen! Their Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwiches are amazing as are the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels. They offer delivery too – and it’s super fast!

I’m a little biased as it’s now part of our family, but their chocolate is delicious and my sister just purchased chocolate-covered strawberries as part of her wedding (unfortunately, they can’t ship the strawberries!). But, they were so good with the champagne toast!

Now, on to the books. You might think this list is sorely lacking in chocolate-themed children’s books. But, I created a book list for National Chocolate Milk Day a few years ago and didn’t want to repeat titles!
