Storytime Theme: Ice

Alright, it’s been a few weeks, but I’m back to offering some great books for storytime! What I love about this type of post is that it works equally as well for children’s librarians and preschool teachers as it does for homeschool families and families just interested in reading more! It’s a win-win-win!

Today, I’m sharing 9 storytime books about ice. A theme that was a little more difficult to put together, so I pulled from a variety of directions – ice skating, glaciers, ice cubes, animal and people that live in icy places, Zamboni, and of course, ice cream. Whether you’re focusing on a more science and nature themed program or looking for fun books about the cold, I’m sure you’ll find something you like in this list! And don’t forget, before heading out into the cold, check out my storytime books all about mittens!
