What I Read

I’m on a reading roll! And with my goal to spend more time on myself this year, I’m happy to report that my reading life is going really well! This week I read A Thousand Questions by Saadia Faruqi, Tune It Out by Jamie Sumner, Stand Up, Yumi Chung! by Jessica Kim, What Lane? by Torrey Maldonado, and The Lonely Heart of Maybelle Lane by Kate O’Shaughnessy.

Do you have ever have a spell of reading when you see the same theme popping up again and again? Right now, I’ve got a serious singing/performing thing going on with the books I’m reading. Because I hate being the center of attention, it’s interesting to read how characters react to it as well!

What I’m Planning to Read

Next up is The Canyon’s Edge by Dusti Bowling, Efrén Divided by Ernesto Cisneros, The List of Things That Will Not Change by Rebecca Stead, and maybe starting We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly.
