Four on Friday: Hiking

Today I’m sharing a fun Four on Friday: Hiking edition. Now that it’s finally cooling down a bit from the mid-90s to a more reasonable temperature, I’m excited to get out on some hiking trails in our area.

We’re so lucky to live around some great state and national parks, so getting to trails is really easy! If you’re looking for trails in your area, check out TrailLink for some great recommendations from paved walking and biking trails to wooded paths. We’re also really close to a part of the Appalachian Trail, so I was intrigued to learn about Grandma Gatewood.

I’m hoping to explore a trail this weekend which is always a fun adventure. Our pup loves to go hiking too as it’s a ton of new smells and happy people to meet! Plus, hiking is a great socially distant activity that the whole family can do together, check out trails in your area, and get out there!
