Slice of Life Day 4: Blog Comments
I’m not an IT person by any stretch of the imagination! I can do the basic turn it off, turn it back on again suggestions and can Google answers to a lot of things, but an IT person I am not. That being said, when I realized yesterday that I haven’t been receiving any notification of comments on my blog, I freaked out a bit! These poor readers have been commenting on my posts and I’ve been essentially ignoring them! Not on purpose of course, but I didn’t know they existed.
Well, after 30+ minutes of Googling the answer to the problem, I was no closer to finding the answer. All the suggestions were things that were already set up and should be working. I checked the spam folder of my email account, nothing. I also hate having to download another plugin to fix something that should be working already. I get so frustrated when technology isn’t performing the way it’s supposed to without any rhyme or reason.
I’m not confident enough to start fiddling with coding, but I did email WordPress and I hope that maybe they can troubleshoot the problem for me, fingers crossed. Until then, I’m going to be definitely checking more regularly on the backend of Literacious to make sure I don’t miss anything. And if I missed your comment, I’m so, so sorry!

That’s so true! Every once in a while, I feel really good about where I’m at and then find something else I don’t know!
