#blogbookaday: I Am Enough

Summary:  “I Am Enough is the picture book everyone needs. This is a gorgeous, lyrical ode to loving who you are, respecting others, and being kind to one another—from Empire actor and activist Grace Byers and talented newcomer artist Keturah A. Bobo. This is the perfect gift for mothers and daughters, baby showers, and graduation. We are all here for a purpose. We are more than enough. We just need to believe it.” (Taken from Goodreads)

Review: Words of empowerment and encouragement fill the pages as characters of all walks of life bring the text to life in this girl power book that all girls need!

Personal Reaction: A book of empowerment for young girls, this story should be read over and over again to encourage young children (girls especially) that they are enough – that if they try hard, are kind to others and stand up for themselves and the people around them, that they are enough. I think this will be another staple title for baby showers in the future.

blogbookaday

This is a new idea I’m trying on my blog this year that was inspired by @donalynbooks and @heisereads – to provide a brief review of a picture book every day of 2018. You’ll get a brief summary of the story, a review of the content, illustrations and theme, my personal reaction to the book and all the pertinent publication information! Enjoy!
