Storytime Theme: Opposites
I have plenty of lesson plans that could stand to be updated, especially since I’ve been blogging for fifteen years! The last time I wrote up an opposites storytime was way back in 2013. You will find some more recent storytime themes about specific opposite pairs: Big & Little, Hot & Cold, Stop & Go, and Up & Down. But today, I’m updating my opposites storytime lesson plan with “newer” books, some fresh songs and rhymes, and of course, a couple of really cute crafts too.
Have fun exploring these titles, maybe combining them with other stories from some of my other lesson plans, pull together a few songs, and a craft if you’re so inclined and you’ve got a perfect storytime for both toddlers and preschoolers!
