Kangaroos are such a fun animal to learn about! These marsupials are well-known animals, even though they are indigenous to just Australia and New Guinea. They are also the only large mammal to move around by hopping primarily on two legs. And can reach speeds of over 40 miles per hour for short distances. Don’t forget to add a few songs and crafts ideas to round out the perfect storytime lesson plan for toddlers or preschoolers.
