Storytime Theme: Gentle Giants
A different take on an animal storytime lesson plan – this one is all about the really big animals that are also the most gentle. Think about animals like elephants and giraffes, pandas and manatees, and of course whale sharks – the largest fish in the ocean. Today’s lesson plan includes both fiction and nonfiction titles, songs (yes, I found a whale shark song!), and a few crafts as well. If your storytime families love animal-themed lesson plans, try for something a little different with Gentle Giants!
