14 Books for Lego Fans

LEGO and yes, that’s both singular and plural, is a building tool that was created all the way back in 1958 and has been a popular, mainstay in children’s toys for decades. And now, LEGO is even creating LEGO sets specifically for adults – everything from vehicles to entertainment, from history to architecture, and even plants.

What I love about LEGO is that you can use the instructions to build specific things or open up your creativity and with a few blocks have endless options to build. It’s a toy that encourages both creativity and imagination as well as STEM skills. Whether you’re engineering a house or car design or using LEGO to create robotics LEGO also increases fine motor skills as well.

And if you haven’t gotten a chance, check out LEGO Masters on Fox and Hulu. Will Arnett hosts LEGO teams of two as they build massive projects based on different challenges while two LEGO judges (Jamie and Amy) share their thoughts and select winners each week.

And with LEGO being so popular across ages, I wanted to be able to share all the great books published by both LEGO and other authors that celebrate this building toy. Whether you’re looking for picture book or easy reader stories to building plans to nonfiction books about the history of LEGO, you’ll find a little bit of everything LEGO in this book list! Enjoy these titles and get your brick on!
