Storytime Theme: Dental Health
Celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month in February with this dental health themed storytime lesson plan. It’s important for young children to learn the importance of brushing their teeth and visiting the dentist to create healthy habits. Below you’ll find some great read aloud book suggestions, songs, rhymes, crafts, and activities. This storytime can be used for kids as young as two and honestly, as old as early elementary school age. Preschoolers most likely won’t understand the concept of losing your teeth, while older kids don’t need books about biting. This lesson plan can be used at your library, or in your preschool classroom, or even at home!
