Storytime Theme: Dirt & Mud
I’m going for a little something different from the typical “garden” theme storytime and instead focusing on dirt and mud! With so many kids out there who love to get messy, I think this storytime lesson plan will resonate nicely with the little ones. And, I love how diverse the books are in this theme – animals, gardening, construction vehicles, and more can be found in the book list for this storytime. Add a few rhymes or songs and you’ve got a storytime that’s ready to go! If you want to extend learning even further, try adding a craft or activity at the end of your program for something a little bit special!
