Top Ten Tuesday: Characters from Different Books Who Would Be Friends

This was a tricky theme and rather than choose ten different groups of characters, I made my life just a little bit easier and only chose five groups based on interests! I’m excited to see what characters other bloggers choose because it’s such a fun way to bring books together in a different way!

Characters from Different Books Who Would Be Friends

From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. L. Kongisburg and Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliet

Claudia and Jamie would love to pair up with Petra and Calder to solve more art mysteries!

Any Day with You by Mae Respicio and When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller

Kala and Lily love their grandparents and I think would be friends because they have that in common.

Emmy in the Key of Code by Aimee Lucido and Yusuf Azeem Is Not a Hero by Saadia Faruqi

Emmy and Yusuf would geek out over robots and coding for sure!

Roll With It by Jamie Sumner and Summer of a Thousand Pies by Margaret Dilloway

Ellie and Cady would spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking delicious pies together.

Clues to the Universe by Christina Li and See You In the Cosmos by Jack Cheng

Rosalind, Benjamin, and Alex would definitely be friends as they shared their passion for outer space.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
