Storytime Theme: At the Beach
I love the idea of the beach, but inevitably, the amount of sunscreen and shade needed for me t to enjoy the beach without getting sunburnt negates all the best feelings. I love to hear the ocean waves, wiggle my toes in the sand, and dig in (nice beach pun!) into a great book, but it’s also a lot to manage! This is a fun storytime theme for summer with great read alouds, some beachy songs, and of course a few activities too. Use it together or break it into mini-lessons to stretch it into a week-long program!
