Storytime Theme: Wishes
This storytime theme went in a lot of different directions! So, whether you’re looking for fun, happy books about birthday wishes, or more serious books about wishes, you’ll find a little bit of everything! And for all ages too.
Some of these books might work better for an older audience – think early elementary, but could also open up some really great discussions as well. The book Wishes is about the author’s refugee experience and might be a great title for even older students to discuss what is currently happening in Ukraine.
I like the really popular storytime themes for things like construction and unicorns. But, sometimes an unexpected theme works really well too!
