It’s the beginning of March, it’s cold and damp, still not sunny and bright enough for my liking which is what inspired this book list! I need a little escape right about now and an island setting sounds perfect! Sometimes, in books, the setting almost becomes a character because an author has developed it so thoroughly you can clearly picture every nook and cranny. I think island settings lend themselves to this type of writing because they are often small contained settings allowing authors to really explore and describe them to us, the readers. These islands – both real and imagined, span the globe and I hope that you find a little escape for yourself with these amazing titles!
