After a rough night with very little sleep, I’m already daydreaming about a nap today! When the opportunity presents itself, I love being able to take a nap! But my mom claims that I’ve always loved napping. She used to say if she hadn’t seen me for a while, she’d find me asleep in bed after putting myself down for a nap as a kid. I just seem to function better with a little cat nap in the afternoon.
While I most likely won’t have time to squeeze in a nap today, I decided to use this inspiration to create a fun booklist of napping books! Here are 9 picture books about napping, but you can find a lot more online including a previous storytime post I did focused on napping.
