9 Cookbooks to Inspire Your Little Chef

It’s no surprise that I’m sharing cookbooks on my blog, specifically geared toward kids! I love to cook and I think kitchen skills are useful for everyone to know! My siblings and I grew up helping in the kitchen and even now when we’re all together, we all end up cooking together. My niece and nephew LOVE to help in the kitchen too – making meatballs, mixing cookie dough, peeling hard-boiled eggs.

Cooking and baking are also great learning opportunities for math, science, and using your imagination, and don’t forget learning how to follow a recipe! If you’re unsure where to start, let your little one bang on pots and pans! Seriously! Just like reading, when it’s fun, kids will be more engaged. Mixing and stirring are crowd favorites for little ones, just make sure you’ve got a big enough bowl so some of it stays in!
