Debut YA Authors: January – March 2021

Don’t miss the many debut middle grade authors I shared yesterday. But for today, I’m going to try something a little different with the debut YA authors. I’m highlighting just the books planned on being released by debut YA authors: January – March. With a list of over 88 titles, this will help to share them in a more accessible way and not to be too overwhelmed.

I don’t have a lot of time to read a lot of YA titles. But sometimes, I’ll feel like I need a break from middle grade books and I’ll go in search of YA. It shouldn’t be surprising that I lean toward contemporary realistic fiction (specifically contemporary romances) and historical fiction. Not only do I love specific genres, but I’m also a sucker for a beautiful cover and rely on a coworker for great YA reads. A Phở Love Story by Loan Le and I Think I Love You by Auriane Desombre are both getting added to my TBR immediately!

As always the publishing world is ever changing, so I’ve tried to gather the most up-to-date information about these books, but check publisher websites for changes in release dates.
