Review:

If you’re looking for a perfect gift for a new parent, for a baby shower, or Valentine’s Day – Moo-Moo, I Love You is it! With absolutely adorable illustrations and hysterical ways to add moo to so many words, this is a story about the love between a child and a parent.

Each page is so much fun – even with a limited color palette! I loved the brown craft paper look of the pages. You typically see white pages with illustrations or full page spreads, but I love this option for the story. The simple illustrations allow you to really focus on the emotion of the story and I think it works beautifully!

Amy and Tom created a number of books together. I once heard an interview with them saying they typically didn’t write by so-and-so, illustrated by so-and-so because they worked so closely together that the words and illustrations were a part of both of them. This will soon become a favorite of many families!

Pair this with Moo! by David LaRochelle and Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type for a perfect read aloud storytime all about cows! You can also check out my Down on the Farm Sensory Storytime Plan for more great ideas!
