Bookroo’s Reader Profiles for the Whole Family

Bookroo logo

I am so excited to share Bookroo’s new adventure today – reader profiles for the whole family! Think Goodreads for kids, but WAY BETTER! Bookroo asked me to take a sneak peek into the system and let me tell you, I’ve become addicted. It’s so fun to set up your account, log books in so many different ways, and track your reading! But, I’m getting ahead of myself! A big thank you to Bookroo for the opportunity to work with your brand and be a part of this launch with my free ambassador account.

Bookroo & Me

Bookroo began as a children’s book subscription service a number of years ago. And I’ve probably been talking about them for almost as long! Back in 2015, when I was just starting out in the blogging world, I talked about how much I loved their children’s literature posters. Fast forward to 2017, when I moved into the Director’s office at my library – I used Bookroo to add some flair to the walls. And most recently, they have curated some absolutely amazing book lists that I use as reference points and additional suggestions for my book lists as well. All of these posts were created prior to having any connection with Bookroo itself.

Okay, so you can see that my love for Bookroo has spanned the ages! When I found an email a few weeks ago asking me to create my own profile, I jumped at the chance to work with such a fun company with the same goals I have – to get great books into the hands of kids!

Reader Profiles

What I love about the Reader Profiles is that every family member can have their own profile and they call all be linked under one user account – so no worry having to remember countless usernames and passwords! And it’s super easy to switch between accounts – just a click of the mouse. Each child can track their own reading, create custom book lists for “Favorites” or “Excited for New Books” and Bookroo also allows parents to decide whether or not they want their children’s accounts to be public or private. And I love that they thought about this as something parents would like as an option. So, that’s just a little bit about the Reader Profiles themselves.
