It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 6/15/2020

Last Week

My full-time staff is officially back in the library this past week and even with a second power outage, all I managed to read was one book. We’re supposedly working shortened hours right now as our building isn’t fully open, but with only nine of us at work, it was absolutely non-stop. I have never been so tired! Plus, I spent an additional five hours working on Sunday just to try and keep up with everything! The only book I got a chance to read was One Last Shot by John David Anderson. I really liked the storyline, but parts confused me and I’d love to chat with someone to hear what they thought!

Reading List for Week of 6/15/2020

I’m hoping that as we move into curbside pick-up and summer reading, things settle down? I know, wishful thinking. But, I’ve got to keep reading, because that’s the proven method to keep me grounded and in a good mood.

Here’s what’s up next:

  • Maya and the Rising Dark by Rena Barron
  • Premeditated Myrtle by Elizabeth C. Bunce
  • Sara and the Search for Normal by Wesley King
  • What We Found in the Corn Maze and How It Saved a Dragon by Henry Clark
