Breakfast for Dinner: Vanilla Dutch Baby

I love a good breakfast for dinner situation! And the coronavirus has definitely upped my game as so many breakfast dishes are perfect for using ingredients from your pantry. This week we tried a Vanilla Dutch Baby from the Food Network website. It was super simple to make and absolutely delicious! And only includes a couple of ingredients – butter, flour, milk, eggs, vanilla, and a little bit of sugar. Mix it all together in a blender and stick it in the oven! Then you’ve got 20-30 minutes to pull together anything else you might want with your meal.

To up the breakfast for dinner game, I also made some Sautéed Cinnamon Apples for the top of our Vanilla Dutch Baby. This recipe actually uses coconut oil and maple syrup to flavor the apples which compliment the puffed pancake perfectly (try saying that fives times fast)! I would totally try this with mixed fresh berries, but because I’m not going to the grocery store very often, I didn’t want all that fruit to go bad before we used it up!

Why not try something new at the dinner (or breakfast) table and share some of these great breakfast picture books while you eat together?
