It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 5/11/2020

Last Week

Reading continues to be my life raft in the midst of this crazy storm. I read a lot this week but two were graphic novels, one was a novel in verse, and another was an elementary age nonfiction.

  • Into the Tall, Tall Grass by Loriel Ryon (Middle Grade Magical Realism)
  • It Sounded Better In My Head by Nina Kenwood (YA fiction)
  • Love, Love by Victoria Chang (Middle Grade Novel in Verse)
  • Middle School Misadventures: Operation Hat Heist! by Jason Platt (Middle Grade Graphic Novel)
  • Nat Enough by Maria Scrivan (Middle Grade Graphic Novel)
  • A Sporting Chance: How Ludwig Guttman Created the Paralympic Games by Lori Alexander (Elementary Nonfiction)
  • The Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa (Contemporary Romance)
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang (Contemporary Romance)

Reading List for Week of 5/11/2020

I’m (still) a month behind in reading all the ARCs I have on my TBR and bookshelf! Apparently the first week of April (of which I’m reading in May) was a huge week for publishing! I’ve still got a long list of titles on my desk (five more!)

Here’s what’s up next:

  • Mad, Bad & Dangerous to Know by Samira Ahmed
  • The Magic In Changing Your Stars by Leah Henderson
  • The Stone of Sorrow by Brooke Carter
  • They Went Left by Monica Hesse
  • We Didn’t Ask for This by Adi Alsaid
  • The Kissing Game by Marie Harte
