12 Days of Christmas Giveaway – Day 7

12 Days of Christmas Giveaway - Day 7

It’s Day 7 and Saturday which I’m super excited about! I have a little bit of holiday shopping at a local independent bookstore to do and I’m excited to stop by and explore the shelves for a little while! All the kids in my life get books for their birthdays and for Christmas (or whenever I get the chance to see them). It was great when I started this tradition, but now with 8+ kids, I’m starting to forget who has received what! I need to create a spreadsheet or something to keep all the books in order.

But, enough about my Christmas shopping plans, today I’m sharing three more middle grade books! Momentous Events in the Life of a Cactus is a story that fits perfectly for an older middle grade reader with a 9th grade protagonist. Redwood and Ponytail is told in the alternating voices of two girls who begin to explore a deep friendship and maybe even something more. Finally, The Distance Between Me and the Cherry Tree is the story of a girl coming to terms with losing her sight and what that means for her future.
