It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 11/11/19

Last Week

It was one of those weeks where I felt like I spent more time at work then I did at home. I worked four-late nights, plus I had to stop in a few times this weekend because of an HVAC issue. It’s been about 80 degrees in the library this week and the Public Works Director is trying to track down a possible valve situation because of course, the rest of the building is cold! And, I also had a Board Appreciation Luncheon today as well, and a Friendsgiving event yesterday, so it’s been an insanely busy week. And on top of it all, I got a cold and feel under the weather. So it’s been a week, which means I didn’t’ read much at all.

This week I only read Doc and the Detective in Graveyard Treasure by Tim Tingle. I started Spies: The Secret Showdown Between America and Russia by Mac Favreau, but haven’t gotten too far into it yet.

Reading List for Week of 11/11/19

I have a bunch of books on hold from the library, so I’m waiting to see what comes in first, plus I grabbed a bunch of picture books published this year that I haven’t seen yet. I’m hoping to create a 2019 Favorite Picture Books list in the next few weeks.

My booklist for this week includes:

  • Geekerella by Ashley Poston (finish this one)
  • Look Both Ways by Jason Reynolds
  • Eventown by Corey Ann Haydu
  • The Miraculous by Jess Redman

What are you reading this week?
