4 Picture Books About Puppies
This is going to sound sacrilege coming from a librarian, but I’m much more of a dog person than a cat person. That being said, after celebrating International Cat Day, I knew I had to promote a few dog books as well! So for today, here are just 4 Picture Books About Puppies!
I’m sure you’ve read about my dog on this blog. She’s a six-year-old rescue pitbull mix who has more energy than I ever know what to do with! She comes with her own issues as we adopted her around a year old only knowing that she had been picked up by the police in a neighboring town. She’s adorable and has tried my patience in more ways than I ever could have imagined. But, she’s also one of the best cuddlers and loves to be with her pack, lying on the couch always touching a human.
What I love are those small glimmers that our continued training with her is actually working. Every once in awhile she’ll actually fully listen to what we’re telling her to do and complete the task. She tries my patience, but I love coming home to a pup who is so excited to see me, every single day!
