Four on Friday: Ocean Animals

I’m so enjoying creating these mini-booklists and as a sucker for alliteration, the name works so well for Fridays. Today theme is Four on Friday: Ocean Animals! My favorite animals of all time are dolphins. I love how sleek and smooth they are swimming through the ocean, leaping with such joy, and playing in the wake off of boats.

Besides dolphins, you may have noticed my interest in octopuses… you don’t theme an entire website around an animal you don’t like. If you don’t know much about octopuses, check out my post about Why an Octopus with an Ice Cream to learn more about these fascinating animals.

Along with octopuses, the ocean is filled with diverse life in animal and plant form. I think families will have so much fun reading these ocean books on Four on Friday: Ocean Animals. And they’ll be ready to explore even more after sharing them together. If you’ve got a shark-loving kiddo, you might also want to check out my Shark Week booklist too. And if you’re looking to extend learning beyond just these picture books, check out 15+ Ocean Activities for Pre-K kids on the PreKinders website.
