It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 7/29/19

Last Week

I love when a weekend has a good balance between getting stuff done (cleaning, laundry, chores, etc.) and spending time with friends and having fun! This past weekend was a little bit of everything, but I will say it helps that I took Friday off of work to get caught up with some work at home. My partner and I went to see Empire Strikes Back at an outdoor theatre with the Philadelphia Orchestra playing the score – it was pretty amazing! We also got to see some friends that live out of town, helped another friend move, and I got to see a close friend and hang out by the pool as well!

Beyond all the great stuff my weekend entailed, I also got a TON of reading done this week! I finished The Distance to Home by Jenn Bishop, plus I read:

  • The Battle of Junk Mountain by Lauren Abbey Greenberg
  • Summer of a Thousand Pies by Margaret Dilloway
  • Lizzie Flying Solo by Nancy Turner Steveson
  • Maybe a Mermaid by Josephine Cameron

I’m rarely ever able to read this much, but I am really enjoying these titles on the Middle Grade at Heart Summer Bingo card. I only have six more titles to read and I can’t wait to see what comes in next!

Reading List for Week of 7/29/19

With just six titles left to black out my bingo card, here’s what I still need to read:

  • Midsummer’s Mayhem by Rajani LaRocca
  • All of Me by Chris Baron
  • August Isle by Ali Standish
  • Searching for Lottie by Susan Ross
  • My Fate According to the Butterfly by Gail D. Villanueva
  • Just South of Home by Karen Strong

What are your reading plans this week?
