Blogging From A to Z Challenge – OCD

There are a number of middle grade and young adult titles that tackle characters with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I personally know a few people with OCD and their symptoms are very different from each other. And just like the people I know, the characters with OCD in these books all have different symptoms and experiences.

Diverse Titles: OCD

  1. Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
  2. Finding Perfect by Elly Swartz
  3. The Goldfish Boy by Lisa Thompson
  4. History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
  5. Kissing Doorknobs by Terry Spencer Hesser
  6. The Miscalculations of Lightning Girl by Stacy McAnulty
  7. OCDaniel by Wesley King
  8. OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu
  9. Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern
  10. The Someday Birds by Sally J. Pla
  11. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
  12. The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B by Teresa Toten

There are lots of great titles that I have read here, and a few that I need to grab soon. I just read Kat Greene Comes Clean, the main character’s Mom has OCD. That was a good one too. Thanks for the list, I just used it to add to my to-read list!
