Blogging From A to Z Challenge – Incarceration

Although many people automatically think about race and culture when they hear diversity. But, diversity reaches much further and with books like the ones on this list – kids will be able to see that there are people like them in the world. Or conversely, kids will learn to have empathy for people who are different from themselves. Children whose parents have been incarcerated have no control over this part of their life, but like all kids deserve to be seen.

Diverse Titles - Incarceration

  2. Breakout by Kate Messner
