It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 4/8/19

Last Week

I don’t know what happened, but I haven’t read a lot this past week. I’m still working my way through The Enchanted Hour: The Miraculous Power of Reading Aloud in the Age of Distraction by Meghan Cox Gurdon. Like most professional resources, it’s taking me a little longer to read this than a typical middle grade or young adult novel.

And I finally picked up my Kindle and read Up for Air by Laurie Morrison – an older middle grade novel about a girl who struggles with school, but is a star swimmer and how to balance both these things.

Reading List for Week of 4/8/19

I’m still working my way through some eGalleys that will, in all likelihood be published before I get to them:

  • The Size of the Truth by Andrew Smith
  • The Library of Ever by Zeno Alexander
  • Pie In the Sky by Remy Lai
  • Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell
  • The Friendship Lie by Rebecca Donnelly

What are your reading plans this week?
