Blogging From A to Z Challenge – Civil Rights

The letter of the day is “C”. I decided to take a quick look into Civil Rights. And before you say anything, I know you can’t really take a quick look at the Civil Rights Movement. And, people fight for civil rights throughout time and around the world. I chose to share just a few titles, you’ll be able to easily find more at a local bookstore or library.

Diverse Titles - Civil Rights
  1. One Crazy Summer by Rita Williams-Garcia
  2. March Trilogy by John Lewis and Andrew Aydin
  3. The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Sims Levine
  4. Revolution by Deborah Wiles
  5. Stella by Starlight by Sharon M. Draper
  6. The Watsons Go to Birmingham – 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis

A to Z 10th Anniversay

I’m spending the month of April promoting diversity in children and young adult literature as part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. Stop by every day for a new list of titles! Also, check out other bloggers who are participating by heading over at the Blogging From A to Z website!
