It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 2/18/19

Last Week

Over the past week, I didn’t get to many books, but the two I read were great and I started a third. The Next Great Paulie Fink by Ali Benjamin is a story about finding your story and learning how to tell your truth. Check out my review from yesterday. I read The Collectors by Jacqueline West over the weekend and really loved how difficult it was for the protagonist to figure out right from wrong. This book was also a Schneider Award Honor book this year for the portrayal of a hard-of-hearing character.

I also just started an adult novel, I know!!!! But, for my birthday, my best friend gave me a three-month subscription to the Book of the Month Club. I choseThe Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo for my first book and although I just started it, I’m really enjoying it so far!

Reading List for Week of 2/18/19

I’ve got an absolutely insane week! I’m working late Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus I’ve got a fun date night planned for Friday night and have to work on Saturday too! But, I’m hoping to squeeze a little reading in, and we’ll see how much time I’ve got. I’m going to try and finish The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo, plus I’ve got:

  • On the Come Up by Angie Thomas
  • Books of a Feather by Kate Carlisle

What are your reading plans this week?
