Top Ten Tuesday: Spooky Middle Grade Titles

This week’s theme is spooky, scary books, a genre, I admit, is not one that I read that often. I’m not a huge fan of spooky books, tv shows, and movies, so it was honestly difficult to come up with ten titles that I’ve read recently! I focused on middle grade titles because they can definitely be scary, but not as scary as young adult titles (which I definitely can’t read!) If you’ve got titles to suggest that are a little scary (but not too much), please let me know!

Spooky Middle Grade Titles

  1. Coraline by Neil Gaiman
  2. Doll Bones by Holly Black
  3. The Nest by Kenneth Oppel
  4. The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street by Lindsay Currie
  5. Splendors and Glooms by Laura Amy Schlitz
  6. Nightbooks by J.A. White
  7. Hoodoo by Ronald L. Smith
  8. Serafina and the Black Cloak by Robert Beatty
  9. The Jumbies by Tracey Baptiste
  10. The Night Gardener by Jonathan Auxier
