It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 7/9/18

I finally got a little more reading done and now that I’m on vacation this week, I hope my reading continues! This past week, I read Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor which was really interesting – a fantasy adventure set in Nigeria. I’m going to have to track down Akata Warrior, the sequel. I finished In a Perfect World by Trish Doller in one day and loved it a lot – a teen girl moves to Egypt with her family during the summer before her senior year as she better understands the Islamic faith and learns more about her own beliefs as well. I also started American Panda by Gloria Chao last night, so I hope to have that read in the next few days.

Coming up this week – I’ve got A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena and I Will Always Write Back: How One Letter Changed Two Lives by Caitlin Alifirenka, Martin Ganda, with Liz Welch. I’ve got to run home for a work meeting tonight, so I may pick another book or two up so that I have enough reading material this week while I’m down the shore.
