Storytime Theme: Jungle Animals
As I’ve mentioned before, animal-themed storytime lesson plans are some of the easiest to pull together! There are thousands of picture books about animals out there. It’s easy to focus on a specific animal or geographic region to share because there are just so many options out there! Check out the desert animals storytime lesson plan from last week for even more great suggestions.
Today’s suggestions are all about jungle animals – lions, tigers, snakes, sloths, and more! Whether you are creating a lesson plan for toddlers or preschoolers, there are some great board books and picture books available. And while I didn’t include nonfiction titles in this lesson plan, don’t forget to add in a nonfiction title or have it on display. Nonfiction titles are great suggestions for some kids – especially for kids who are asking lots of questions and want to know all the information about everything! Enjoy these great suggestions and have fun!
