Storytime Theme: Fall Animals
While it’s not quite summer, I know that teachers and librarians are always looking ahead to what’s coming next, so I wanted to make sure I got this lesson plan ready to go for the fall! While I have a bunch of great suggestions for seasonal storytimes, I have never done a fall animals theme, so I decided it was about time. With both fiction and nonfiction titles, this lesson plan is both informational and fun and as usual, includes songs, rhymes, and craft ideas too! In fact, you could do a whole series of fall-related storytime lesson plans this year – leaves, apples, pumpkins, scarecrows, gratitude, and of course fall animals! You’ll be all set for your fall lesson plans, easy peasy!
