Storytime Theme: Noses
As I continue to update some of my older themes here on Literacious, today I’m updating my nose storytime lesson plan from way back in 2016. I’ve also done an entire group of storytimes based on senses, so you check out my smelling storytime lesson plan too for even more great suggestions. Today, I collected a lot of fun read aloud books, many of which would work really well if you’ve got a younger storytime audience. Many of these titles are actually board books, so the plot is simple or the content is geared toward a younger audience.
So grab a couple of titles that work for you and your storytime crowd, pick a song or two (but not your nose!), and if you want to include a craft or science experiment, go for it – you’ve got your entire lesson plan ready to go!
