Storytime Theme: Winter Wonderland
It has been a minute since I created a Winter Wonderland storytime theme (over 10 years ago!), so I thought it might be time to update the blog post with some recently published winter-themed picture books, add a few new craft ideas, and of course a couple of rhymes and songs as well!
Our winter has been a weird one already – it was bitterly cold in December (not at all usual for our region) and then it was 50+ degrees at the beginning of January! You never know what it’s going to be like, but seasonal storytimes are always a big hit with little ones. If you’re looking for even more great suggestions of read alouds, check out my Winter Read Alouds post for 25 picture book titles, all about winter!
