Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books I Read in 2025

I don’t know that I ever imagined a cowboy romance novel being on my list of enjoyable reads for the year, but I really enjoyed the Rebel Blue Ranch series by Lyla Sage. I also have a lot of other favorite romance authors on this list as it was a year of reading that lent itself to an escape from the realy world for a bit at a time.

It seems silly to some, because romance novels follow a very typical plot, especially when it comes to an HEA. But, I just love getting sucked up into another world where in the end, everything just works out. I like that romance novels are entertaining and often fun to read. I don’t necessarily want to think too hard or get pulled away from the story. And I especially love when a romance novel becomes a story that features different characters whether it’s siblings or local townsfolk that all interact together as the series goes along. Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams

Give Me Butterflies by Jillian Meadows
