Storytime Theme: Easter
I’ve written up a lot of holiday storytime themes this year, and while Christmas is around the corner, I’m focusing on another Christian holiday today, Easter. Like many of the other holiday storytimes I’ve published this year, I focused on providing readers with recently published Easter titles as a way to freshen up a current theme you may already be offering, or by sharing some of the newer titles available for families.
Along with a number of cultural titles about Easter, I’ve also included a fiction/nonfiction title about the religious aspects of the holiday as well. This series – Celebrations & Festivals is a great introduction to so many holidays and is a perfect story to include in a preschool storytime when looking for something with more information than typical picture books offer.
