Top Ten Tuesday: Cozy, Fall Chapter Books
I’m not sure how this is going to to go over because kids don’t necessarily read for seasonal vibes like adults often do. But how cool would a fall book display look with not just picture books about the season, but chapter books and middle grade titles that have that cozy fall vibe?
I found ten chapter book series with fall-themed titles that I’m sharing today. Chapter books are focused on newly independent readers with limited vocabulary, the benefits of illustrations that support the story, and a lot of white space. These differ from middle grade titles that are typically longer (think 200+ pages) and have a lot more text on the page, and are geared toward an older audience (ages 8-12). Share these cozy, fall chapter books withe newly independent readers or as read alouds for younger kids!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I loved the Rainbow Magic series as a kid, although one must be a newer one – pretty sure it didn’t exist when I was reading them.
