Storytime Theme: Bluey

While I don’t have any little ones of my own, I’ve seen my fair share of Bluey episodes and I absolutely adore the show. It’s so sweet and reminds me a lot of tv shows that were on in the early 90s, simple plots, focused on kids while also providing learning opportunities.

So, of course, with the popularity of Bluey, it makes sense to offer a storytime featuring Bluey and Bingo and a game of Keepy-Uppy (make sure your balloon is latex-free)! There are a bunch of board books and picture books all about the Blue Heeler family in Australia, plus Bluey.tv has a host of activities, games, and music to share as well! This is probably one of the easiest storytimes to pull together, because it’s all very focused, rather than having to find material to fit a broader theme. Have fun with this one, because I can almost guarantee it will be a hit for both kids and caregivers!
