Storytime Theme: Cheese
Have you seen those memes about cheese where the kid is literally just shredding cheese right into their mouth? That’s my level of love for cheese! I love a little charcuterie board filled with all kinds of cheese and when I’m feeling a little peckish, I’ll grab a cheese stick from the fridge for a little pick me up!
So, obviously that equates to creating a storytime theme about cheese. And I actually love how it turned out! You can go in a few different directions with this theme – learning about how cheese is made for a nice little STEM lesson, or focus on mice (since they also love cheese), or go with the tried and true, “Say cheese!” and read a book or two about taking pictures. Whatever direction you go, remember, be excited about the books you’re going to read otherwise, it’s just not worth it!
