It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 10/26/2020
What I Read
I’m so excited that I got a bunch of reading done this week! I finished up Quintessence by Jess Redman, which I loved! Plus, I read Izzy Newton and the S.M.A.R.T. Squad: Absolute Hero by Valerie Tripp which is a fun STEM early middle grade novel. I also read Cinderella Is Dead by Kalynn Bayron – a YA fractured fairy tale that really turns the typical Cinderella story on its head which was really fun to read! And finally, I also squeezed in Think for Yourself: The Ultimate Guide to Critical Thinking In an Age of Information Overload by Andrea Debbink and Aaron Meshon.
What I’m Planning to Read
I’m excited for another fun week of reading! A few titles I have planned include Camp by L.C. Rosen, Orphan Eleven by Gennifer Choldenko, and Atomic Women: The Untold Stories of the Scientists Who Helped Create the Nuclear Bomb by Roseanne Montillo.
Plus, I had re-watched Anne with an E on Netflix over the past few weeks and I want to re-read Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. I read it many times as a kid, but haven’t read in as an adult and I want to see how I feel about it now!
