Storytime Theme: Doors
This storytime, like many, started as one thing and then morphed it’s way into this one. I really wanted to do a knocking on the door/ringing the doorbell storytime, but I was really struggling to come up with books to fit the theme. So, instead, I decided to go with a little mix of all sorts of things that go along with doors – knocking, ringing the doorbell, saying hello and goodbye, things like that! And in the end, I’m really happy with how it came out! It’s very different from my “Say Hello!” storytime lesson plan, but one that I think is a lot of fun!
