Storytime Theme: Stars
Sometimes I’ve created a storytime theme years ago and it’s one that I like a lot, but it needs an update. Usually, it’s because there are always new books coming out about the subject, so while you’ll already find a star storytime theme from 2013 and 2019, it’s time for three-peat! I specifically chose newly published books over the past few years to include this time allowing you a chance to maybe swap out a title in your star-themed storytime for something new!
I love stargazing and unfortunately, where I live right now has a little too much light pollution for my liking, I did get to do some amazing stargazing on vacation in Utah. And even though I was terrified of getting mauled by a mountain lion about 75% of the time, the dark skies out there are amazing to experience! There are so many stars and we even got to see a couple of shooting stars while we were in the National Parks! While, you’re safe and sound from mountain lions in these books, you’ll still get the awe-inspiring feel of stargazing within these titles – a great experience for families!
