Storytime Theme: Human Body
Without actually planning it, I seem to be creating a number of storytimes that focus on basic toddler and preschool concepts and today is no different. Today we’re talking all about the human body and this one is specifically about body parts rather than feeling good in your skin (or self-esteem which you can find here).
Plus, you can make this storytime a STEM program just as easily as a typical storytime, I would maybe do fewer songs, but include some hands-on activities about the human body that kids could try out after you read a book or two! The human body is a fascinating thing and kids can begin learning all the amazing things their bodies can do at an early age!
